Description
This historical retrospective explores the impact of the building of Maryland’s Conowingo Dam. Construction began in 1926 on the lower Susquehanna River. The dam opened in 1928, and was a celebrated engineering feat. Learn about the resultant fate of the Chesapeake Bay and its affected flora and fauna, a pertinent topic for our area.
